KS2 Football Team entered the Utilita Football Tournament at the Anchorians
Some of our year 4, 5 and 6 boys were selected to take part in an inter school EFL Utilita football tournament on Tuesday afternoon. They lost their first match 1 - 0, drew the next two matches 0 - 0 and won their final match 2 - 1, with goals by Elliott Shepherd and Marcell Ward - who scored with the very last kick of the match! They were just 1 point off gaining a place in the quarter finals. Mr Peters said a special mention needs to go to Dominic Carr who played a superb role in defence. All the team played well, but unfortunately found scoring past strong defences quite tricky.
