Year 3 and 4 visit to Living Land - 5th May5 May 2023 (by admin) |
Years 3 and 4 had a wonderful day at the Living Land Event held at the Kent Showground where they sampled local honey, apple and orange juice and had the opportunity to milk a 'fake' cow. They saw lots of old farming machinery and got to collect olts of stickers throughout the day. All the children seem to have enjoyed the sheep, where each sheep had it's own dance move. They all had a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
It was a really hot day! We went to watch a sheep show, the sheep danced. My favourite sheep was called Lenny. The birds of prey was really good. The falcon was the best because it was really fast.

We got to meet Steve who was looking after us all day. He had a monkey called Cheeky Chimp. My favourite part was looking at the machinery and meeting a tiny owl.
